Before you tell me your story...
Let me tell you mine,
My name is Kerstin, I'm 19 and I have fallen in love with capturing others stories. My own story started during my junior year of high school in 2019- when I hadn't really touched a camera. I had an impulsive idea to ask a friend if I could practice taking pictures of her- that's when my life changed. After practicing for nearly two years, I was finally able to start my own photography business in 2021. Since then, I haven't been able to put my camera down.
When you don't see me behind the camera you can catch me on horse back or with a sewing machine in front of me. A fun, relaxing day to me involves spending time with close friends, going antiquing/thrifting, or spending time outdoors.
Outside of portraits I have also found my niche in equine marketing. During the summer after my second semester at Oklahoma State I began working for a cutting horse trainer in north east Oklahoma. This opportunity showed me how diverse the photography industry truly is.
